Martins Penna in five acts
The exhibition is part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Martins Penna, playwrighter, chronicler, composer, founder of the comedy of manners in Brazil, theater and opera critic and patron of the Brazilian Academy of Letters. The creation of the exhibit was based on the author’s comedies, which make an aesthetic-geographical tour through the city of Rio de Janeiro during the empire period. Videos, testimonials, music, objects and interactivity are part of the exhibition.
